Abstract:In recent years, automated driving has moved from a dream to a reality. However, there is still a long way to go as many safety-related issues keep unclear, especially when takeover transitions occur between drivers and automated driving systems. To ensure driving safety, it is essential to improve the interactions between drivers and vehicles. This presentation will introduce some experiments aiming for the development of human machine interfaces while using automated driving systems, based on open-source database, and collected driving data.
