报告人简介： 上海高校特聘教授（东方学者），上海师范大学数学系教授。2015年毕业于上海交通大学，获理学博士，师从国家杰出青年基金获得者肖冬梅教授。2015-2017受大西洋数学科学研究联盟（AARMS）资助，在加拿大纽芬兰纪念大学（Memorial University of Newfoundland）从事博士后研究，合作导师为国际著名动力系统专家赵晓强教授。 周鹏教授目前的研究兴趣主要是偏微分方程和单调动力系统，已经在Lotka-Volterra反应扩散模型的研究中取得了一系列很好的结果，部分成果发表在国际知名学术期刊J. Math. Pure Appl., J. Funt. Anal., Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations, J. Differential Equations等。

报告摘要： I this talk, I will firstly review some classical results on competitive ODE and reaction diffusion models. Then focusing on the non-self-adjoint systems involving advection terms, I will report some recent development in this direction with an emphasis on how to deal with the advection terms which causes some difficulties in the qualitative analysis, especially in the stability analysis of both semi-trivial and coexistence steady states.
