报告摘要： In this talk, we propose a mathematical model for a single species fish stock with three stages structure: juveniles, small adults and large adults with two harvesting strategies for mature classes, maturity and size selectivities. The purpose of the work is to investigate the dynamical behavior of the model and discuss the effect of harvesting. We identify the adult reproduction number R for the model; obtain the local and global stability of the trivial equilibrium when R<1 ; discuss the population persistence and existence of a unique positive equilibrium when r>1. Numerical simulations are provided to investigate the influence of harvesting functions, discuss the optimal harvesting rates and explore the effect of periodic coefficients on the dynamical system.

报告人简介：Yuan Yuan, 教授，先后在武汉大学和中南大学获学士和硕士学位，随后于2002获西安大略大学博士学位。自2002始任教于纽芬兰纪念大学数学与统计系。袁教授主要研究领域为数学生物学、数学生态学、非线性动力系统、时滞微分方程等；现已发表高水平学术论文50余篇，并兼任多个国际期刊编委、特邀编辑等。
